Introduction

  • By the mercy of Allah, finally, the Pre-Ramadhan Hifdh programme is extending to a year round initiative inshaa Allah.
  • Many a time, it is observed that students (especially) sisters are afraid to memorise the Qur'an due to various apprehensions.
  • It is our deepest desire to make this journey easier, inshaa Allah.
  • As such, the memorisation of the Qur'an has been divided into ten distinct phases. Each phase should take a year for the average student- the one who has less capacity may even do half of each phase per year. The one with more capacity may even decide to do two phases a year!
  • However, we advise slow ascension and for one to enjoy the journey and reap the benefits, inshaa Allah.
  • The goal is not to complete the memorisation fully, but to connect with the book of Allah and connect with Allah as a result.
  • Yes, if one ends up completing the full memorisation then mashaa Allah TabaarakAllah!

Prerequisites

  • Sisters should have a very good level of Tajweed- major mistakes should be very seldom in their reading. An ijaazah level is not necessary as the full precision can be acquired gradually over time inshaa Allah. However, too many major mistakes will be very hard to recitfy later on if memorised incorrectly.
  • For students who do not meet the above criteria they can join the Juz 'Amma course and aim to  memorise Juz 'Amma with very good Tajweed, inshaa Allah.
  • Students must have the courage to keep up with weekly tasks, meetings with friends and their teacher (all online).
  • Students must be determined and ensure they memorise/revise every lesson to the best of their ability, inshaa Allah.

Course Setting and Outcomes

  • This course will consist of one group weekly meeting with the teacher. This session will be an opportunity to revise one's memorisation and test one's progress, inshaa Allah.
  • During the week, students are to meet their respective group members (online or in-person) and give new portions of memorisation and revision to their partner(s).
  • The frequency of these meetings can be discussed within groups.
  • Inshaa Allah, schedules will be provided and assistance will be given in planning and organising one's memorisation schedule.
  • Periodically, there will be formal tests to check the level of memorisation and identify places where work is needed, inshaa Allah.
  • The programme will carry on for as long as Allah wills inshaa Allah. Any changes will be communicated to you inshaa Allah in due course.
  • Main communication amongst group members and the teacher will be via WhatsApp, inshaa Allah.

Days, Times, Venue and Fees

Day & Time of Weekly Meeting: Saturday 12:30PM onwards (on average this would last 1 hour, however, if there are more students then this may continue onwards until approximately 2:30PM inshaa Allah- in this case, students may be divided up into different slots within this timeframe to allow them to have a shorter session).

Day of Starting: Ongoing inshaa Allah.

* Please note that there will always be the greatest of efforts to meet at the designated time, inshaa Allah. However, should there be any changes of circumstances then this will be clearly communicated and consultation will be taken inshaa Allah.

Classes will be online via zoom inshaa Allah. WhatsApp will be used for communication, inshaa Allah.

Fees: As this is an ongoing course, a small optional monthly fee is required to indicate one's commitment. If one has the facility then they should aim to pay the monthly fee. If one does not have the ability then they do not have to pay the fee.

Please choose between: £0, £5 or £10 a month. Should there be any issues, please do contact us. Inshaa Allah.

Please check the fees page for further details.

Rules

1) Only sisters are to partake in this course.

2) Unknown sisters will be required to have a short WhatsApp interview, unless they have been referred to by a sister known to the teacher. This is to prevent any fitnah and misuse inshaa Allah.

3) A noise cancelling headset must be used during the session. Sisters should sit alone away from men, or such that men cannot hear. The teacher observes strict modesty, so please be mindful of this point always.

4) The course will go with at least 1 sister. Sincerity is what is more weighter than numbers.

5) Sisters must bear patience and maintain good aadab (etiquettes) at all times.

6) Sisters must make a vow to change themselves for the sake of Allah. Make an intention and, inshaa Allah, Allah will help you along the way.

7) Register on the registration page inshaa Allah.

8) Always feel free to message on how these services can be made better for you (provided the boundaries of good decorum are not broken).

JazaakumAllahu khairan.
